XT.COM Announcement on the Upcoming Listing of BTC2(Bitcoin 2)

Bitcoin 2 is a scalable energy efficient cryptocurrency supporting instant transactions. Open source - Fast - Custom Time Tested Proof of Stake algorithm. Long-term goals: In-wallet decentralized exchange, and real world use. History: Work on Bitcoin 2 started soon after the announcement of Bitcoin Cash because we knew we can improve Bitcoin further but did not have access to improve Bitcoin directly. We didn't want to just rush out a fork with a simple change like Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin Gold etc. did. Instead we implemented big changes to Bitcoin before even announcing our project. By the time we were ready to announce our fork, there were some more Bitcoin forks already out there that also had only implemented simple changes. At launch, all Bitcoin holders as of February 5 2018 got BTC2 on a 1 for 1 basis. The Bitcoin 2 balances, addresses and supply were set to equal those of Bitcoin. Claims from the fork are no longer supported after 15 months after the main net launch of Bitcoin 2 and thus most of the supply is locked.
