To further enhance the risk management capabilities of futures traders, XT is pleased to officially launch its "Futures Insurance" service. This innovative mechanism, operating through "Premium Payment → Policy Generation → Staged Payout," aims to provide users with long-term, stable risk hedging and protection support in their futures trading.
XT Futures Insurance Rules Description
Core of Insurance: Pay a small premium (minimum 10 USDT) to get 100 USDT equivalent coverage! (1 Policy = 100 USDT Coverage)
Based on the principle of fairness to all insured users, futures insurance implements a tiered premium rate. Users with more claims and higher risk assessments will have their premium rates increased accordingly.
1. Policy Value and Acquisition:
- Each active policy = 100 USDT of potential coverage benefits.
- After activating the insurance, when the accumulated loss from covered futures contracts reaches 100 USDT, the system automatically generates 1 policy.
- At the time of generation, the corresponding premium is deducted according to the user's current premium rate (deducted from the insurance account).
- New policies or re-unfrozen policies require a 72-hour waiting period before becoming active. When the current progress reaches 100%, active policies will receive payouts.
- Simply put: 100 USDT loss → pay a small premium (minimum 10 USDT) → get 1 policy representing 100 USDT coverage.
Note: Only U-margined futures account transactions under the main account are covered. Sub-account transactions, strategy trading, and smart copy trading are not covered. Losses from position takeover (liquidation not fully executed) are borne by the platform's insurance fund, as these are not active trading behaviors by the user. Therefore, these profits and losses are not included in the accumulated insurance losses, do not generate policies, and no premiums are charged.
2. Payout Trigger:
When the insurance fund pool reaches the target, the system will make payouts to all active policies. Each active policy you hold (valued at 100 USDT) is eligible to participate in the distribution.
3. Premium Collection:
- Profitable Orders Premium: Order Profit (PNL) * User's Current Premium Rate (deducted from the futures account).
- Loss-making Orders Premium: 100 USDT * User's Current Premium Rate. The corresponding premium is collected when accumulated losses reach 100 USDT and a policy is generated (deducted from the insurance account).
4. Policy Maintenance:
- The system daily checks whether your trading premium meets the minimum maintenance premium – if met, all policies remain active; if not met, newly activated policies within the last 10 days are protected, and other policies will be frozen.
- Frozen policies must be unfrozen by resuming trading within 10 days, otherwise, they will permanently expire and cannot be recovered.
5. Insurance Fund Pool Sources:
Platform injection of transaction fees (0%-5%, adjusted by the platform based on actual conditions) + full user premiums.
To ensure that the rights and interests of normal futures insurance users are not harmed, all malicious policy brushing and other violating behaviors that damage the rights and interests of normal users are strictly prohibited. Once identified by the system, one or more of the following risk control measures will be implemented for violating users based on the severity of the results caused by their actions:
- Violating futures transactions will not generate futures insurance policies.
- Increase the premium rate for violating users.
- Blacklist violating users, prohibiting them from using the futures insurance service.
