Smart Trend Principle
Smart Trend classifies different types of crypto assets into bullish and bearish directions. Take the Bullish BTC Smart Trend as an example. Investors expect the price of BTC to rise, with corresponding price range. At the end of the product term:
- If BTC's settlement price is above the upper price range, investors receive the highest APR.
- If BTC's settlement price is below the lower price range, investors still receive a minimum based APR.
- If BTC's settlement price is within the price range, the higher the price, the higher the APR.
For the Bearish BTC Smart Trend, mechanics work in the opposite direction.

- Scenario 1: If the settlement price at the product's maturity is less than the upper limit of the price range (Settlement Price ≤ $87,000), then at maturity: Settlement APR = Minimum APR = 6.00%
- Scenario 2: If the settlement price at maturity falls within the price range ($87,000 < Settlement Price < $92,000), then at maturity: Settlement APR = Minimum APR + (Settlement Price - Lower Price) / (Upper Price - Lower Price) * (Maximum APR - Minimum APR)

- In "Smart Trend", you can view all available products for subscription. Choose a Smart Trend product based on the subscription currency, underlying asset, and direction (bullish/bearish). Confirm the reference APR range, duration, price range, and settlement time. You can also click "View All Historical Products" to check the settlement APRs of past Smart Trend products.
- Select your desired Smart Trend product and click the "Subscribe" button. In the "subscription Pop-up Window", confirm the product details, enter the subscription amount, and click "Confirm".
- After a successful subscription, you can click "View Holdings", or navigate to "Assets" - "Financial Account" - "Smart Trend" from the top right corner to check earnings and holdings status. Upon maturity, the principal and earnings will be credited to your Spot account at 12:00 (UTC) on the maturity date.
