Google Authenticator adds an extra layer of security to your XT account. In some cases, such as when you no longer wish to use Google Authenticator or want to adjust your account’s security setup, you may choose to disable it. This guide explains how to disable Google Authenticator securely via the mobile app.
Note: For security reasons, your account must have at least two verification methods enabled. Before disabling Google Authenticator, please ensure that both your email address and mobile number are already bound to your account.
Before you start
If you still have access to your current Google Authenticator app, you can use the disable Google Authenticator option to turn off Google Authenticator verification. This allows you to adjust your existing 2FA setup without going through a full reset process.
However, if you have lost access to your Google Authenticator app or backup key, you won't be able to disable it using this method, as verification through the current authenticator is required. In that case, please follow the Reset Google Authenticator process, which involves additional security verification to safeguard your account.

5. Once completed, Google Authenticator will be successfully disabled on your account.
