II. How Tiers Are Determined
XT Card uses a dual-track system. Your final tier is automatically set to the higher of the two tracks below.
Track 1: Total Spending
- Scope: From card activation, all settled XT Card transactions are aggregated in USD equivalent.
- Multiple Cards: Spending across all XT Cards under the same account is combined.
- Refunds: Refunded amounts are deducted from total spending (see Section V).
Track 2: XT VIP Mapping
- XT VIP levels correspond to a minimum guaranteed XT Card tier (see Section I).
- The guaranteed tier updates in real time as your XT VIP level changes.
- If your VIP level decreases, the guaranteed tier adjusts accordingly; however, if your spending-based tier is higher, your final tier remains unchanged.
Final Tier = max (Total Spending Tier, VIP-Mapped Tier)
Example:
| User | Total Spend | Spending-Based Tier | XT VIP Level | VIP-Mapped Tier | Final Tier |
| User A | $8,000 | V1 | VIP 5 | V2 | V2 |
| User B | $60,000 | V3 | VIP 1 | V0 | V3 |
| User C | $0 | V0 | VIP 6 | V3 | V3 |
III. Upgrade Mechanism
Spending-Based Upgrades
- Trigger: When a transaction status changes to “Settled” and total spending reaches the next tier threshold, your tier is upgraded automatically.
- The transaction that triggers the upgrade earns cashback at the pre-upgrade tier; the new tier benefits apply starting from the next settled transaction.
Note: XT Card transactions typically take 1–3 business days to settle. Tier upgrades are based on settlement time, not the time the transaction was initiated.
VIP-Based Tier Adjustments
- VIP Upgrade: If your VIP-mapped tier is higher than your current spending-based tier, your tier is upgraded immediately.
- VIP Downgrade:
- If your spending-based tier ≥ the new VIP-mapped tier → your final tier stays the same.
- If your spending-based tier < the new VIP-mapped tier → your final tier adjusts downward to match the VIP-mapped tier.
Upgrade Timing:
| Trigger | Effective Timing |
| Total spend threshold met | Tier upgraded immediately once the transaction is settled |
| XT VIP level upgrade | Takes effect in real time |
| XT VIP level downgrade | Updates in real time (no change if spending-based tier is higher) |
IV. Cashback Calculation Rules
Basic Formula
Cashback = Transaction Amount (USD) × Cashback Rate at Settlement
Monthly Cashback Cap
- Calculated on a calendar-month basis and resets at the end of each month.
- If your total cashback for the month (already issued + current transaction) exceeds the monthly cap, only the remaining available amount will be issued.
- Any excess beyond the monthly cap will not be carried over or reimbursed.
Example:
A user at Tier V2 (0.70% cashback, monthly cap: 100 USDT) has already received 80 USDT this month. A new transaction of 5,000 USD → theoretical cashback = 5,000 × 0.70% = 35 USDT Remaining quota = 100 − 80 = 20 USDT → actual cashback issued = 20 USDT
Cashback Distribution
- Payout: Issued in USDT and credited to the user’s spot account.
- Minimum Threshold: Cashback amounts below 0.01 USDT per transaction will not be issued.
- Cashback will not be issued if the calculated amount is 0.
Included / Excluded Transactions:
| ✅ Included | ❌ Excluded |
| Online & in-store card purchases (settled) | Pending transactions |
| All currencies converted to USD at real-time rates | Cancelled transactions |
| Spending across multiple cards (combined) | Fee (e.g., annual fees, service fees) payments |
V. Refund Handling Rules
Impact on Total Spending
Once a refund is confirmed, the refunded amount is deducted from total spending. If the updated total falls below the current tier threshold, the tier will be downgraded accordingly.
Impact on Cashback
| Refund Type | Cashback Handling | Example |
| Full Refund | All previously issued cashback is fully clawed back and deducted from the spot account | Spend $500 → Earn 3.5 USDT → Full refund → 3.5 USDT clawed back |
| Partial Refund | Cashback is clawed back proportionally based on the refunded amount | Spend $500 → Earn 3.5 USDT → Refund $200 → 1.4 USDT clawed back |
| Cross-Month Refund | Same clawback logic applies; deducted from the spot account in the month the refund is processed | Spend $500 in Jan → Earn cashback → Refund $300 in Feb → 2.1 USDT clawed back in Feb |
Clawback Rules
- Cashback already issued: Deducted directly from the spot account. If the balance is insufficient, a negative balance is recorded and offset against future cashback payouts.
- Cashback pending: Cancelled and will not be issued.
- Monthly Cap: Cashback clawed back due to refunds does not restore the used monthly quota.
