This article explains how to reset your identity verification on XT. You may need to complete this process if your identity information needs to be corrected or updated. Please note that identity verification reset is currently available only on the XT website and cannot be completed via the mobile app.
Changing my XT account password on XT website
1. Log in to your account and visit the Reset Portal.
2. Select the reason for updating your identity verification, then click [Confirm Update].
3. Select the type of identification document you wish to upload.
4. Enter your personal details, including your full name and identity number. Please ensure that all information exactly matches the details shown on your identity document.
5. Upload clear photos of your identity document in JPG, JPEG, or PNG format. Each file should be no larger than 5 MB.
6. Record a verification video as instructed, which usually involves reading aloud a code or numbers shown on the screen. Then upload the video in one of the following formats: MP4, OGG, WEBM, 3GP, or MOV. The file size should not exceed 50 MB.
7. After entering all required information and uploading the necessary files, click [Submit] to complete your application.
8. Once all steps are completed, your application status will change to [Reviewing]. You will receive a notification (via email and/or site messages) once your verification is approved or if additional information is required. Processing typically takes up to 2 business days.
