In this guide, you will find step-by-step instructions on how to unbind 2FA both on the web and via the app. This guide is intended for scenarios where you can log in normally, and Google Authenticator is still operational. If you've transitioned to a new device where Google Authenticator is no longer functional, you'll need to unbind and then rebind it on your new device.

Note: For security reasons, withdrawals and C2C selling will be disabled for 24 hours after changing or unbinding the authenticator.
How to Unbind 2FA on the Web
To unbind Google Authenticator:
- Log in to the XT website.
- Navigate to the Security Center page.
- Locate the Google Authenticator option and click Unbind.
- Enter the Google Authenticator code and email verification code to pass the security check, then click Submit to successfully unbind your Google Authenticator.
To unbind your phone number:
- Log in to the XT website.
- Visit the Security Center page.
- Find the phone option and click Unbind.
- Enter the Google Authenticator code and email verification code to pass the security check, then click Submit to successfully unbind your phone number.
How to Unbind 2FA on the App
To unbind Google Authenticator on the app:
- Navigate to Personal Center > Security Center > Google Authenticator > Enabled.
- Enter the Google Authenticator code and email verification code to complete the unbinding process.
To unbind your phone number on the app:
- Go to Personal Center > Security Center > Google Authenticator > Enabled.
- Enter the Google Authenticator code and email verification code to complete the unbinding process.
